Coleman Air Compressor
If you think you would be buying a fairly decent compressor in purchasing a Coleman, you would be sadly mistaken. I purchased one two years ago. I have used it for perhaps a total of ten hours during that time using it with a nailer, a paint sprayer and keeping my car tires inflated. The cheap plastic piston ring failed and I found out yesterday that there is no replacement part available for it. This is one of the most likely parts to go bad and it is not available anywhere. You have to buy the "motor assembly" at $175.00 to replace what would have otherwise been a $10.00 or $15.00 part. Incredible!

Didn't Last Long
I used this compressor lightly for less than 5 hours: inflating tires and cleaning dirty engine parts. I took very good care of the unit, but the poorly designed connecting rod broke, rendering the compressor useless.
